Cancellation and Refund Policy

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY REGARDING COURSE FEES

Cancellation of a Course by ATS Limited
Where insufficient numbers have applied for a course it may be necessary for ATS Ltd to close or
cancel courses. ATS Ltd will endeavour to inform applicants as soon as they are aware that a course
is full or cancelled. In the case of cancellations any fees paid will be refunded.

Cancellation of a Course by a Student
When cancelling a confirmed booking on a course by a Student, refunds will only be considered if the
prospective student contacts ATS Ltd in writing at least 10 working days before the expected start
date of the course. A £50 administration charge will be levied against all refunds.

Cancellations made less than 10 working days prior to the commencement of the course, will not
be eligible for a refund, but tuition fees may be used (at our discretion) against another course. In
this case unused funds would remain on account with ATS Ltd for future use by the student within a
12-month period.

This is not the case after a student has enrolled on a programme: see refunds below. Funds held on
account by a student can only be used within the 12-month period, e.g. Cancellation January 20X1 end
of 12-month period December 20X1. Unused funds cannot be transferred after this date and cannot
be refunded.

Withdrawals and refunds
Refunds after enrolment are only made under exceptional circumstances, such as certified medical
illness that would prevent a student from attending or finishing the course. Students should apply in
writing to the ATS Ltd Admissions and Progression Manager (Cathy Balcomb) enclosing the
appropriate evidence (e.g. doctors’ certificate) for consideration of a refund. In this event a refund
would be calculated on a pro-rata equivalent of the units remaining on the course less £20
administration charge.
